Singing Saxon Newsletter — Special Update Edition

This special edition of the Singing Saxon Newsletter includes several important updates for our choir community. Please review each item carefully so you and your student remain up to date on our choir program!

1. Cookie Dough Fundraiser — Due Tomorrow (11/18)

• All cookie dough fundraiser forms and payments are due tomorrow.

• Please ensure all orders are written clearly, all money is collected and attached securely, and everything is submitted on time.

• Late orders cannot be guaranteed, so timely submission is essential.

2. Choir Merch Store Now Open — Required T-Shirt Purchase

• Students are required to purchase the choir t-shirt, which will be worn for designated events throughout the year. Here is the link to our online store! Image of the required t-shirt below is attached.

• The online store will be closing Sunday, November 30th.

• If there is any economic reason why your student cannot purchase the required t-shirt, please communicate with me directly.

• Additional merch items are optional but available for families interested in showing their Schaumburg Choir pride.

3. Parent Volunteer Crew — First Meeting December 1st

• We are launching a Parent Volunteer Crew that will meet once a month to support a variety of choir needs throughout the year.

• Our first meeting will take place on Monday, December 1st. More details will be shared soon.

• Whether you can help with concerts, events, organization, hospitality, or behind-the-scenes support, your involvement is welcome and appreciated.

4. Adopt-a-Family: Supporting Our Community

• The SHS Choirs are participating in an Adopt-a-Family initiative to support a local family in need.

• If your family is able to contribute, we have a cash box available for donations.

• All donations are due by Monday, December 8th.
