Mr. Braulio Muro is the director of choirs at Schaumburg High School. At Schaumburg, he teaches music production, serves as the vocal director for musicals, and oversees all choral ensembles.

Mr. Muro earned his Bachelor's degree in Music Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. During his time there, he performed with the Men’s Glee Club, Chamber Singers, and University Chorus, where he also worked as a teaching assistant. He played a significant role in the music education community, serving as president of the University of Illinois’ Music Education Student Association (MESA) and as Choral Lab Coordinator for the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA).

In his free time, Mr. Muro enjoys cooking, running, watching musical theatre, and spending time with his family.

Mrs. Bev Tipps is a graduate of Elk Grove High School, after which she attended Eastern Illinois University, graduating with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance.
​
Besides being the accompanist at SHS since 2002, she is also the accompanist for the Harper Festival Chorus, the pianist at the Congregational Church of Algonquin, and she plays for professional soloists and ensembles in the Chicago area.
